Hey Kevin...thanks once more for keeping PC alive...I like this list, though (grumble, grumble) corn is not in season here yet, so all we get in the way of fresh corn is stuff that looks like corn but was picked a week ago in Florida...but of course there are lots of corn products, so maybe I'll come up with something special using high fructose corn syrup...! Anyway, have fun, and have a great Fourth!
Stephen,
Fresh corn has just shown up at the Farmers' Market this week here. So I lucked out.
Kevin- we can select anything from either list, is that correct?
S'kat,
You have to use corn, ground coriander, and pine nuts (or reasonable facsimiles) in your entry and somehow how you need to put an Independence Day twist on the result. Beyond those three ingredients and that loose theme you can use anything you want and do anything you want.
Have fun!
This is exciting! I will put up a note on my blog too.
So once you figure out what you are going to make how do you submit it???
Peabody,
Post it to your blog, then either send me an email with your name, a link to the post, and your location or post that information in a comment here.
