The submission date for entries is Monday, July 10 at 10:00 am EST. This gives everyone a full week to not only come up with a recipe but also get the post written (and clean up from the festivities).

Either email to me (see upper right hand side for address) or post here in the comments:

Your name or nom de cuisine.
A link to the recipe (or, if you don't have a blog, e-mail me your recipe and I will post it).
Your blog's name and location.

Hey Kevin...thanks once more for keeping PC alive...I like this list, though (grumble, grumble) corn is not in season here yet, so all we get in the way of fresh corn is stuff that looks like corn but was picked a week ago in Florida...but of course there are lots of corn products, so maybe I'll come up with something special using high fructose corn syrup...! Anyway, have fun, and have a great Fourth!

Stephen,
Fresh corn has just shown up at the Farmers' Market this week here. So I lucked out.

Kevin- we can select anything from either list, is that correct?

S'kat,
You have to use corn, ground coriander, and pine nuts (or reasonable facsimiles) in your entry and somehow how you need to put an Independence Day twist on the result. Beyond those three ingredients and that loose theme you can use anything you want and do anything you want.

Have fun!
