Spot-On: Should You Care?
The food press is all over it, but no one else is paying much attention to the so-called farm bill coming up for renewal this September. True, the bill isn’t relevant to everyone. Those who don’t eat or drink to stay alive needn’t pay much attention. But if you do count those activities as central to your continued well-being then a few moments of consideration might be worthwhile.

I'm afraid this might be one of those things that everyone is looking to someone else to take care of instead of knowing that the love of money is the root of all evil, and taking responsibility for what is presented in the marketplace. The big time farmers don't care about what goes into the crop, just what they can get out of it. I personally don't want to eat roundup in my corn. If you care about good health you will buy organic as much as you can, and locally also. Know the person you are buying from, so that you will know whether he cares about his pocketbook or whether he cares about the people in his community.
Hey, give me a soapbox, I got a lot more!!!
Hippocrates said, "Let your food be your medicine and your medicine be your food." How did we get so far from this? If you want to see what they are doing to our food, read Seeds of Deception, even the animals know not to eat the genetically modified crops.
Other countries are waiting to see what happens to our children before they eat our tainted crops. That should tell us something.
Okay, I'm getting off the soapbox because I don't think anyone is listening. They're all too busy.

I'd really like to write someone about this, but will admit to being ignorant about who to write and what exactly to say. Will any of the future articles talk about who to contact and what to say?
Hi Christy, I may be breaking a rule here but this is a website you might like www.ewg.org, it is the Environmental Working Group, and they have lots of info on their website. Hope it was okay for me to give that web address.
